Alright, the contestants have two days to list the major felonies, and misdemeanors represented or inferred here.

"I THINK WE HAVE A WINNER!"

Comrade Bodmin describes the Art Crimes depicted above. Of course other contestants are encouraged to post as well!

Bodmin sez:

1) Incest (Cupid is the son of Venus)

2) Rape of an adult women by adolescent boy, or

3) Grooming of child (the defendant's own son) for sexual activity

4) Corrupting the morals of a minor: two charges, one for Venus' actions with Cupid, and one for letting the minor on the right watch

5) The biggy: sexual conduct by a woman pedophile with a minor child

6) Against Bronzino, (the artist in question): sexualised depiction of a child (for cupid on right). This is clearly intended as a pornographic image because he is depicted with an anklet.

7) Bestiality (what do you think the dove in the lower left corner is there for?)

8) Placing a child porno image on the web. I know, some asshats who think they know about porno law will tell you that no image over 200 years old can be porno. But that goes for the original painting - not this digital reproduction of it, which is contemporary with the time it was posted. You didn't realise that, did you? Better have a chat with your lawyer...

I also note a depiction of Art the Fratboi along the left margin, showing his distaste for physical expressions of beauty...

(Incidentally, for anyone who objects "but the people in this painting are not real and cannot be minors", please note the document from the Bundeskriminalitatsamt, translated and reprinted in part in the last Destroyer, which gives instructions to police and prosecutors on how to determine the age of virtual persons for use in child porno prosecutions, based on the ratio of eye area to the total face (Mickey Mouse is clearly a child!), of limbs to trunk, and other factors.

As Karl points out, these are based on the work of their illustrious predecessors in the 1920s and 1930s, who were busy measuring such factors for racial classifications.
